Annex 1 - Documents comprising a foreign investment application
1.	A completed foreign investment application form.
2.	Photo copies of the passport of individual shareholders of the investing entity
3.	The Articles of Association and the Memorandum of Association of the proposed company investing in the Maldives.
4.	The Articles of Association and the Memorandum of Association of the proposed company investing in the Maldives.
5.	If a shareholder of the proposed investing entity is a company, Resolutions of the Board of Directors confirming their decision to invest in the Maldives as per the foreign investment application must be submitted along with the application.
6.	Projected business plan and feasibility study, which must include the Following:
	Details of the proposed investment including the main activities of the proposed company. 5 year projectedbalance sheet, profit and loss account and cash flow statements for the proposed investment, including all the assumptions made in the financial projections. Financing plan for the proposed investment including details of equity, debt etc. A phasing plan for investment detailing the proposed phasing of capital/ infrastructure investments (if any). Proposed human resource plan, including a foreign labour replacement plan (if the investing company has intentions of employing foreign labour in its operations, initially) and the proposed wages for both foreignand local employees, classified by occupation.
	Note : If the shareholders in the investing entity are a Public Company, items 2 And 4 are not applicable to such applications.
